Misunderstood: To understand we must let go of understanding. ©
Misunderstanding is the ego's response to forcing understanding upon a
subject it understands not. In misunderstanding the ego's attempt is to
have an understanding and even though understanding is missed, it
takes the ego out of the uncomfortable vacuum of the unknown - that is
of what it does not understand. To subdue the ego we must make a habit
to rid self of the need to understand, grow in comfort in the vastness
of the unknown - or not understanding - and begin our journey from that
position. In this state the mind the self is - we are -able to let go of
the need for answers and are free to truly enjoy transformation
(which brings with it understanding). It is also in this state that we
alleviate the ego's need to insult that which it does not understand.
This need to insult arises when the ego feels belittled when it does not
understand something. "How dare this thing be above me, ME!"
In relinquishing the need to always understand we let go as well of the feeling of inferiority that comes with it when we are faced with not understanding.

Loving you
Is like being in the Ocean
Cause no matter what I do
It's bigger than me
Stronger than me
The waves of what you are to me
What you mean to me
Come crashing down on me
Around me
So fucking hard
And even as I swim
Work hard to get somewhere
I can't get nowhere
I don't go nowhere
Cause when I stop
I'm still floating
I'm still hoping
Sitting in the middle of the Ocean
Is like being in the Ocean
Cause no matter what I do
