This is going to get me some backlash, I'm sure of it. But before you write and tell me what a jerk I am and where to go, take in what I'm saying with a different perspective. Take it from the place where you deserve and desire to be, whether that's in better shape, in better financial standing, in a loving and fulfillng relationship and just plain old full of joy.Now looking from the place where you desire and deserve to be, read on.We live in a "hook me up" microwave era where people expect extraordinary results with less than average work ethic. They expect monumental change from their current situation without even putting in the effort to drastically adjust their foundation (that being their habits and their thinking more specifically their beliefs and reasons.)
I've worked with people one on one and in group settings for 10 years now. I've seen people achieve tremendous things and I've seen other's running like a hamster in the wheel spending valuable energy hoping for someone else or something to make their desires come true. The one thing I've learned and observed with successful people - they are not soft. They become obsessed in thought with achieving their desire and this obsession is held firmly in place by their thinking or more specifically by heir beliefs and ) reasons why.
I challenge you, the you that you are right now, the you that desires so much more to ask yourself two questions:
1. What do I want? Really.
2. Why do I want it?
Answered those yet?Good, now here's exercise two -
1. What must I have?
2. Why MUST I have it?
I know - your saying what's the difference. Here it is, what you must have you will get, what you should have you might get if someone gives it to you or you stumble upon it.You want it? You need it? You must have it? Good then stop being soft, get some Passion, get a Plan (and theirs plenty of people who can help you do that from a personal trainer to a financial adviser) then with faith and a new set of beliefs that serve you Persevere.
Enjoy your journey,
